Dogs and Kids Can Play Well Together!
Clients ask us all the time about their dogs and kids getting along, if we can help them play nicely, etc. Let me put it this way: if my boxer could sit there while my 2 1/2 year old hit golf balls around her, YOUR dog can do it too ;-P

Our company has helped many families with their dogs and kids to get along. Depending on the age of the children, they can at the very least learn how to play appropriately with their pup. Older kids can help with training, and incorporating tricks can make it fun for everyone!
Kids and dogs can develop a bond through husbandry tasks as well. These types of activities include (but are not limited to): feeding their dog properly, brushing their dog, and getting them accustomed to having their ears and paws handled. Of course, the tasks your child can help with depends on their age, as well as the dog’s age. And, as always, you would need to train your dog with the task first, then supervise your child doing it.
Teaching your dog how to listen and respect your family will help create a more relaxed environment at home. You’ll enjoy your pet more, and your children will be able to play with them easier. Helping families get along with their pup is one of our specialties!
